1. Explain the process of registration briefly.
  New users can sign up through DISCOM web page and then register with the details available in the bill. Registration is simple and entirely online process. The user is successfully registered upon submission of valid registration details.However consumers should verify the name before registration.
2. What is consumer number?
  The consumer number is appearing in the top left corner of the bill.
3. How to key in the consumer number in the New User Registration page?
  The input boxes should necessarily be filled up with 5 digits or 11 digits depending upon the consumer type (HT or LT). Only numeric digits should be entered, in particular the slash separator ( / ) is NOT to be entered.
4. Is an e-mail id essential?
  No. However please note that valid email id would be required in order to receive email notifications.
5. I have typed a wrong consumer number while registration. Will I get registered?
  No. Registration would not be successful without valid consumer number. You will have to double check the name before proceeding with registration process.
1. Can I use credit /debit cards of any bank?
  You may use credit cards of any bank and debit cards of certain banks that authorize internet transactions.
2. Is there any charges for Credit Card? What are the different modes of payment and charges applicable?
  Yes. The charges are levied by Master/Visa Credit/Debit Card Service provider and these are @1% per transaction.

3. Will other banks get added to Net Banking facility?
  Yes. This will be an ongoing process.
4. Can I pay for multiple consumers? Can I pay for owner / tenant / relative / friends?
  No you cannot pay for multiple consumers through a single login. You will have to create separate login ids for each consumers.
5. Can I see payments history? If yes how?
  Yes you can see the history of your energy Bill Payments. You need to click the ?Payment History? option that is available on the home page post successful login.
6. Should I have to print the e-receipt every time?
  Not essential. It is only for the purpose of your record. You may view payment report in the login and also bill status in our web site.
7. Whom should I contact in case of any questions/doubts?
  You may contact local subdivision office.
8. The name and /address in the web site appears to be wrong.
  The corrections have to be done at the concerned subdivision office.
9. Is it necessary to pay bank charges for debit card?
  Yes, it is necessary to pay the charges for online transactions through Debit cards. Banks offer Debit cards as an option for Online Payments only on commercial basis.
10. What should I do if I forget my password?
  You can recover your password through "Forgot Password" link in the login page.
11. What shall I do If Receipt Is Not Generated / Error Page Displayed ?
  After a successful transaction, if error page is displayed instead of the receipt, kindly check whether your bank account is already debited with the amount of earlier transaction before attempting to pay again for the same service no. If debited, please do not attempt to pay again for the same service no. The receipt will be sent to your profile email id in reasonable time after receiving the confirmation from the Bank. Also the receipt can be viewed in the payment history in your login id.
12. Will Payment Gateway accept debit cards for payment of Electricity Bills?
At present payment gateway will accept the following VISA Debit Cards.
